Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of all digital products, content, events, games, and services provided by Urban Escape (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing, accessing, participating in, or using any Urban Escape digital product, event, or game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not purchase, use our products, or participate in our events and games.

1. Digital Products and Events

Urban Escape provides digital products and interactive real-world experiences, which may include but are not limited to:

• Digital maps and guides

• Interactive, outdoor, or self-guided experiences and games

• Downloadable or access-based content

2. License and Permitted Use

Upon purchase, Urban Escape grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the digital product for personal, non-commercial use only, unless otherwise stated in writing.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, or share the product

• Upload the product to public or private sharing platforms

• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works

• Use the product for commercial purposes without written permission

3. No Refund Policy

All digital product and event registration sales are final. Due to the nature of digital content and immediate access, no refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits will be issued once a purchase is completed, except where required by law.

4. Access and Availability

Urban Escape does not guarantee uninterrupted access to digital products or the continuous availability of live games. We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue products or games at any time

• Temporarily suspend access for maintenance or technical reasons

Urban Escape is not liable for interruptions, delays, or loss of access beyond our reasonable control.

5. No Data Collection

Urban Escape does not collect, store, or process personal data from users. Any third-party platforms linked from our website operate independently and are governed by their own privacy and data practices.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, designs, text, graphics, branding, and digital assets are the exclusive property of Urban Escape and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of Urban Escape intellectual property may result in termination of access and legal action.

7. Disclaimer (No Reliability)

Urban Escape products, games, and events are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind.

Urban Escape is completely unreliable for any purpose whatsoever. While we design interactive experiences, we make no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding:

• The safety, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any maps, routes, or directions

• The condition or safety of any physical locations, public spaces, or environments where the game or event takes place

• The suitability of the event for your physical fitness or health level

Participation in any Urban Escape game or event, and the use of our digital products, is entirely at your own discretion and risk.

8. Limitation of Liability and Release of Liability (No Right to Sue)

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urban Escape, its organizers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, illness, physical harm, trauma, or death arising from or relating to your participation in our games, events, or use of our products.

By purchasing a ticket, downloading our content, or participating in our events/games, you expressly agree to the following:

• Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to traffic hazards, environmental conditions, weather, interactions with third parties, physical exertion, personal injury, and death.

• Waiver of Right to Sue: You hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Urban Escape from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action. You agree that you, your heirs, executors, and assigns will not sue or bring any legal action against Urban Escape for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including personal injury or death, resulting from your participation.

• Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Urban Escape against any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your conduct during the event.

9. Termination

Urban Escape reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to digital products or bar participation from events, without refund, if these Terms are violated.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings permissible under these Terms must be brought exclusively in the courts of Alberta.

11. Changes to Terms

Urban Escape may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of our digital products or participation in our events constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
