How to Prepare

• Dress for the weather. Event will take place, rain, shine, or snow. 

• Participants will be using a digital map to locate physical treasures. Please ensure your phone is fully charged and has mobile data access during the event.

Game Duration

• Game time may vary depending on the players. The experience typically lasts between 60 - 90 minutes.

How it works

- Players participate solo, teams, or family (not a race - each group treasure hunt at their own pace)
- Each pirate crew receives a pirate map marked with locations along the Bow River, where hidden treasure challenges await.
- Collect all the lost treasure and return to the final checkpoint to claim your reward - from the pirates.​

Which difficulty level do you want to play?

• EASY MODE offers a beginner-friendly pirate experience designed for participants who are: 

1. 15 years/younger or groups looking for a fun and lighter challenge level

2. A basic walking path and navigation are available on the map to help guide you if needed

3. Find at least one treasure chest to complete the hunt *(does not need to find all 4 treasures)​​

• HARD MODE offers a more challenging pirate experience for participants who are:

1. Competing for the leadership board

2. 16 years or older

3. Seeking a greater challenge and difficulty level

4. No clues or map navigation guide available for hard mode

5. The Leadership Board is based on completion time
