You'll receive a BLIZZARD map showing your location and the exact location of the Medallion. From there, it's up to you to interpret, navigate, and find the medallion.
🔍 Location:
The medallion will always be hidden in a safe, public, and easily accessible location. It will never be placed in a dangerous, private, restricted, or off-limits area.

The game continues until the medallion has been found.​
The concept is simple: only your location and the meallion location exist. Your goal is to figure out how to get closer to it and, ultimately, claim the reward.
